Is Advance Acai Too Good to Be True?

Advance Acai, a berry in pill form that is purported to help people lose weight and, thus, become healthier. There are Acai products that are genuine, but the Internet is full of less than authentic imitations. There are numerous websites and complaint boards that help point out the frauds.  In general, the truth is the Internet, as well as more traditional media promote many genuine products and use legitimate means to reach their respective consumer markets. However, there are many shady operations “out there” trying to lure consumers into their deceitful web sites.

One of the questions I get asked a lot is, “What are the benefits of using this product?” This article is not intended to list the many benefits of the acai berry.  The main goal of this piece is to help consumers protect themselves from misleading advertising.  I do want to make you aware of many acai berry scams and other promotions “out there.”

Many acai berry promotions promise a whole lot, but they, in fact, deliver very little. In other words, they raise false hopes. Instead of buying into the hype do a little research on the product you are considering buying.  The Advanced Acai spells out in their terms of service exactly what you’re signing up for, make sure you read the fine print.

The acai berry, itself does have many health benefits, such as suppression of appetite, boost energy, and raise metabolism. Also, it has been shown to be an antioxidant that helps weight reduction efforts and fight cancer according to a recent study. Because of this the Internet has blossomed with different products using the acai berry, such as Advance Acai, at least in part.

One thing to be very wary of is misleading advertising. Indeed, many people fake their testimonies in order to sell a product. Anything touted as a “miracle cure” is normally being overhyped.  Dramatic results are possible, especially with a 100% perfect acai berry supplement, the results may not be quite what the sellers of these products say they are. Remember, you cannot lose 20 pounds while you sleep it doesn’t matter what product you use.

The problem lies mainly in the Terms of Service. Consumers are charged $79.95 per month for the product with a shipping and processing fee. However, here’s the catch. Though you can cancel within 14 days, shipping and processing fees are non-refundable. There are many stipulations make it very hard to cancel and receive a refund. So what’s the verdict, I would suggest passing on Advanced Acai.
